TESOL Journal (TJ) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, practitioner-oriented electronic journal that publishes articles based on current theory and research in the field of teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). TJ is a forum for second and foreign language educators at all levels to engage in the ways that research and theory can inform, shape, and ground teaching practices and perspectives. TJ enable an active and vibrant professional dialogue about research- and theory-based practices as well as practice-oriented theorizing and research.

TESOL Journal (TJ)
is seeking proposals for the 2021 special topic issue from interested guest
editors. The TJ Editorial Advisory Board will consider proposals that address a theme of interest and
relevance to the international readership of TJ. Successful proposals have an overarching theme that
is timely and are of interest to the TJ international readership. The issue will appear in the September
or December issue of 2021.

TESOL Journal (TJ), the TESOL International Association’s refereed, practitioner-oriented electronic journal (ESCI indexed), is looking for reviewers to join our Editorial Review Board. We welcome qualified reviewers in the field of English language teaching and learning and related areas. TJ reviewers should be members of TESOL, have published empirical work, and have reviewed for scholarly journals in the field. To apply, please send a short cover letter and a 2-page résumé summarizing relevant publishing, reviewing, and editing experience to; questions can be answered through the same ​address.
